Welcome to the Business Leadership Club website! The school year is coming to an end and we have some awesome events coming up. Very soon we will be selling raffle tickets for our Annual Fundraising Raffle. We have some awesome prizes to give away so make sure you find our table, or contact an officer to purchase tickets. Upcoming Events Spring 2008

Thursday -April 24th, We will have a table set-up at the ASG Barbeque, so come on by and say Hi! This will be a great chance to purchase raffle tickets!!!!

Wednesday-April 30th, We will be hosting a Financial Literacy Fair in room C120 from 8:30 am till 10:30 am. Come learn about financial literacy while enjoying coffee and snacks with fellow classmates. We will need volunteers to help and this will be a great way to get involved!

Friday-May 16th, We will be travelling to a local accounting firm for our annual Accounting Job Shadow.This is a great opportunity for accounting students to learn more about how a major accounting firm is run.Spots are filling fast so if you'd like to attend please contact Marco Sanchez, our club president, for details.

Thursday-May 15th, It's time again for BCC Alumni Night! Come on out and mix it up with the BCC alumni! This is going to be an awesome night, and we will post more information as it is confirmed.

The Business Leadership Club was formed in Fall 2004 with the Mission to enhance the curriculum of our business programs, foster engagement and collaboration between students, and support student success in academia and life. The Business Leadership Club (the "BLC") is an extensive learning community that spans BCC business students, recent alumni in four-year colleges, and alumni in the working world.

The students of the BLC plan programs of speakers, field trips, shadowing opportunities and social events. The excellent and diverse speakers have extended the curriculum of existing courses beyond the classroom. All of our speakers have cited the imiportance of relevant internships, even upaid. They talk of the importance of good communication and teamworking skills!

What do I get out of this? Explore careers in business that you might not even know about!!! Gain access to alumni in prominent local corporations. Improve your Networking skills. Learn how to better present yourself to maximize your talents.

How do I get involved? Come to our club meetings on Mondays in room C 212(Student Programs). Send an email to President Marco Sanchez at marcojsg@gmail.com and ask to get involved. Attend a planning meeting and help with a future speaker or event. This is a great way to gain valuable networking and event planning skills.
